Adult Services Blooms

At the beginning of the pandemic, staff and individuals decided to work on their yards and build vegetable and flower gardens.  Nora, a Direct Support Professional, and Stephen, the Administration Assistant at the Summer Street office have singlehandedly found ways to acquire plants, seeds, soil, and plant boxes.  Many items and plants were donated.  Staff and individuals pitched in to foster the fabulous blooms.  Many of the individuals also had plant starter kits, nurturing from seed to seedling, and then participated in the planting of their seedling.

Shared Living Explores

The Shared Living Providers have done a stellar job of maintaining a safe and happy homelife for the individuals who live with them.  Edward, the Program Manager, has been taking hikes every week with James.  This past week they trekked up Mount Sugarloaf in Sunderland.

An opportunity to have fun and support the work of The United Arc

We have always looked forward to a range of in-person events such as our Annual Gala & Auction, Annual Business Meeting, Open Houses showcasing Talents and Pursuits, the Annual Summer Picnic, among others.

Sadly, this will not be possible this year.  This will be our “UnEventFull” Year.

Starting on June 5, 2020 and running to September 21, 2020, auction packages will be available for individuals to bid on, with new packages being added to the catalogue every one to two weeks.  All auction packages have a minimum value of $250.

Bid on exciting packages in our Priceless, Luxuries, Adventure, New England, Cities & Towns, and Sweet Life Collections online throughout the summer.

This year, when you visit our Online Auction to consider the delightful packages available for bid, you will be able to register for a free entry to a drawing to win a Pandora’s Box valued at over $400.  So, visit (and enter HERE) often.  The drawing for the Pandora’s Box will be held Monday, September 21, 2020 and the winner will be contacted with the wonderful news then.
